spade bits and spade bit set
A fine spade bit with
a point
in the center of the end is just like a flat shove, so it is also called flat
bit.
To start drilling a small hole by using tip point of
pilot drill at a slow speed, and then two cutting edges of
spade bit begin to grab the wood. At this time,
pick up the drill speed steadily and drill through the wood
and pull the spade bit out while the drill still going.
